Lee Perry- Founder of Organizing To Victory
Lee Perry is the founder of Organizing to Victory, an organization dedicated to training small business teams, supporting grassroots candidates, and building nonprofit coalitions that advance community-driven solutions across Florida. A graduate of the University of Central Florida, Lee began her career in community education and advocacy, helping residents understand the environmental and policy issues shaping their neighborhoods and encouraging people to engage in the decisions that impact their communities.
Lee stepped into politics when she saw how quickly Florida was becoming a conservative stronghold and realized the importance of building stronger grassroots leadership. She went on to help manage the successful campaigns of Nicole Wilson and Kelly Martinez Semrad. After their victories, Lee helped both commissioners build out their offices—developing policy platforms, hiring and training staff, and establishing strong operational structures to effectively serve their districts.
In between supporting those administrations, Lee also helped run the 2022 campaign for Carlos Guillermo Smith. These experiences inspired her to launch Organizing to Victory, where she now focuses on training campaign teams, empowering new leaders, and helping grassroots candidates, small businesses, and nonprofits build sustainable structures rooted in community leadership and real solutions.
Ernesto Calderon- Co-Founder
Ernesto Calderon is the Co Founder of Organizing to Victory and leads the organization’s brand building, strategic communications, and digital campaign strategy. A marketing and communications expert, Ernesto specializes in video production, photography, website design, and digital advertising, helping campaigns and grassroots organizations tell compelling stories that move people to action.
Ernesto met founder Lee Perry while the two were working together building nonprofit initiatives, and their shared commitment to community impact led them to create Organizing to Victory. Through his work, Ernesto develops visual storytelling and media strategies that highlight the real people and policies shaping communities across Florida. As the producer of the Organizing to Victory Podcast, he helps amplify the voices of grassroots leaders and advocates who are fighting for social justice. Ernesto is passionate about building a pathway for frontline communities and grassroots candidates to be seen, heard, and ultimately win campaigns that create a better future for people and the planet.
